I
would like to take the time to thank my Mom, Nanny, sister, and
brothers for all their love and support. You guys mean the world to
me and I love you with all my heart. I would also like to have a
shout out to Stephen Jones.
God couldn’t have sent a better youth pastor to our church
especially when I needed one the most. Thank you for being there
for me in so many situations.
Jordan
Jordan,
I
just want to tell you how proud I am of you. Sometimes people overlook
graduating High School, but it truly is a great accomplishment. Since we are so close in age
we have done many things together throughout our life. You and I have been through
some tough times but we have stood together as big bro and sis to
get through it all. I
thank God that I have a brother like you. Although we bicker at times
we always end up showing love for one another. I really can’t believe your
senior year has gone by so fast. I will truly miss yelling for you
at your basketball games and will miss blowing a kiss every time you
would swish a 3-pointer.
I can honestly say that I’m proud that you have stood your
ground with Christ and you have always done your best to do the
right thing. I have loved our heart to heart conversations. Remember that your BIG
SISTER is always here and is always praying for you. I will continue to pray that
God will direct your paths and you would respond to what he has
planned for your life.
I LOVE YOU!
“Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the
Lord’s purpose that prevails.”
Proverbs 19:21
Your Proud Sis,
Trisha
Wow, has it been more
than 12 years ago that I dropped you off at school for your first
day of Kindergarten?
Time sure does fly.
I am so proud of you and the young man you have become. Proud that you made it
through High School and will now graduate and look ahead to plans
for college.
My heart
swells with pride as I think of all the memories I have. Some I will
never forget include when your Oak Hill team won the tournament, and
when you sunk your 1st 3 pointer as a Spartan. I have enjoyed watching you
play basketball and also are proud of the fact that you have chose
to be a TRUE DUKE FAN!
I know
that your four years of High School have not been easy. Our life took a turn that I
wasn’t planning but through these changes you have always
endured. You have
stepped up and took the role as “man of the house”, even though it
wasn’t asked of you.
You have been my rock when I needed someone to lean on. We have had our
disagreements as most parents and teenagers do but we have managed
to work through them and are here today.
My mind
goes back to when you were very young and we were at Wayne &
Debbie’s church. A
message was given to me that God had his hand on your life and a
calling for you to fulfill.
I am waiting to see what great things and plans that God has
in store for you. As a senior in a Christian
High School we
chose a life verse. Here is mine and I am passing it onto you.
Corinthians 10:31 “Whether
therefore ye eat or drink, or whatsoever ye do, Do all to the Glory
of God.”
I love you
Jordan and am proud to
call you my son!
