JOY Ministries

The ministry for our senior adults is called JOY.  Our Just Older Youth are lead by Pastor of Adult Ministries, David Crisp.  

JOY is a multi-faceted ministry that keeps our seniors on the road and out of trouble!  Seriously, they do a lot of traveling as is typical of their age group, but the focus of this ministry is their visitation.  JOY has a strong rest home ministry and several of the members also participate in a card ministry for birthdays, anniversaries, and benevolence.

Every Tuesday morning, JOY meets for a Bible study and they have at least one fellowship meal a quarter.  Sometimes wphc holds a special worship service for JOY members that includes good ol' hymns and a fiery sermon. This ministry also enjoys a luau at the home of Raymond and Kitty Dollar annually.  It is a great time of fellowship, food, and fun for all who attend.
